About Diets
Right, you’ve decided to lose some weight. But, where do you start? Do you choose to follow an existing diet or just follow a healthy eating plan? Before you decide which diet to follow there are a couple of questions you need to ask yourself; Can I follow this diet for more than just a couple of days? Can I afford the cost of the diet? Do I want to go to weekly meetings? Do I want a very limited choice of food? And, most importantly is it well balanced? It is important to remember though that a diet which limits portions to a minute amount or which excludes certain foods entirely to promote weight loss may not be as effective in the long term. It is easier for many people to maintain a diet that allows you decide (to a certain extent) which foods you eat.
